The Play Coven is a series of workshops and group sessions using extraordinary powers of play to unlock our personal magick of transformation. This is emotional alchemy that helps you find empowerment, balance, and bravery to face the unknown.
To me, magick and witchery are not a metaphor. Play helps you touch the ineffable and find greater capacities for expression and freedom than you knew possible. If it works best as a metaphor for you, that is no issue.

Narrative Improv
An 8-Week Introduction - Nov-Dec 2025
This class will introduce a non-structured, story-driven approach to narrative improv with the scene techniques needed to execute it. The techniques can be applied to any specific genre or form. Discover your character’s wants, flaws, and other traits that serve dynamic storytelling. Play powerful, emotionally connected scenes and enhance the deep listening required to do the above effectively

Coach The Coaches
Mondays, 7-10pm (Spring 2024)
This class covers the why's and how's of coaching and teaching improv - whether you want to utilize that as a coach-for-hire, self-direct your indie team, run rehearsals more effectively, or simply gain a deeper insight into the inner workings of scenes. We will cover Anne and Bill's harmonizing-but-different takes on: how to diagnose scene work; how to communicate effectively, how to structure a lesson; how to side coach; and developing your personal voice & style as an improv coach.

Advanced Longform: The Deconstruction
Sundays, 12-3pm (Summer 2023)
This form is like improv Pilates - it works all your improv muscles at once, helping you be a stronger and more agile performer. You'll get to explore many types of scenes - long & short, grounded & high octane - within one piece. Develop sharper focus, broader awareness, and an instinct for connecting scenes beyond narrative. This form is great for both analytical and instinctual players!
