She has been in the Nashville theatre and film scene for nearly ten years performing and directing. Her belief is that theatre and film have the ability to reflect the world to an audience. She has a passion to protest through art & disruption and believes strongly in opportunities for everyone to have access to the arts.

CHRISTINA ASHWORTH (Performer, she/her) is a Nashville native whose love of theatre dates back to her first role as Oliver Twist. Today, her theatrical craving is met through performing improv at Third Coast Comedy Club where she performs with Rat Dude! and other shows.

DARYN JACKSON (Performer, she/her) is an actor, director, producer, and facilitator. She has been making theater in and around Nashville since 2007 with such companies as Actors Bridge Ensemble, Springhouse Theatre Company, Act 1, Ragana Creative, and others. She trained in the Meisner Technique at Actors Bridge, and studied improv at Third Coast Comedy, where she met and fell in love with many of the amazing people working on this project. Her work as a speaker and facilitator has taken her around the world working with students and educators, training emerging leaders to create culture by spreading kindness and compassion in their schools and communities. More than anything, she loves being on stage with other people who love being on stage and is delighted to be part of Fools in Love.

DILLON DAVIS (Performer, they/them) is an actor with 15+ years of theatrical experience. During this time, they’ve worked in educational theater (running the scene shop at Middle Tennessee State University), they’ve dabbled in improv (short and long), stand up, sketch, and Shakespearean acting, which has led them to having worked with various 501c3’s including Murfreesboro Little Theater, Inebriated Shakespeare, Murfreesboro Improv, Bravo Boro and Unscripted. They received their BFA in theatre from the University of Tennessee in 2016.

EMMA SUPICA (Performer, she/her) is an improviser, performer, and theater maker based in Nashville, TN. Step into the enchanting world of FOOLS IN LOVE: a highly theatrical blend of Jane Austen's classic charm with the contemporary sizzle of Bridgerton and Gentleman Jack, brought to life by Nashville’s top narrative improvisers. Each performance brings a new Regency Romance with smoldering glances, lovable characters, wild misunderstandings, and razor- sharp humor.

Drawing inspiration from the works of Jane Austen, the characters in FOOLS IN LOVE wrestle with class, money, sex, gender politics, and the universal desire to rebel against rigid societal systems. Our cast uses the tropes of the Regency era as a lens to examine the parallels between the 19th-century Regency world and our own. By blending historical romance with contemporary comedic perspectives, the project provides a fresh take on timeless issues, inviting the audience to reflect on their own relationships and societal structures. All served with the heaping spoonfuls of sugar that are laughter and sexual tension.
